We design, engineer and deliver fit-for-purpose vessels and integrated power, automation and energy-efficient systems – from concept and specification through to commissioning and site support worldwide. To strengthen our System Integration team, we are now looking for a Senior Engineer Power & Automation.
As Senior Engineer Power & Automation, you are a customer-focused and experienced electrical engineer with in-depth knowledge of power and automation systems for ships and a particular focus on sustainable, future-oriented solutions. You thrive in a team, are motivated by both the technical and the commercial sides of the role and bring aninnovative mindset and a genuine commitment to sustainability
- Develop electrical system philosophies for ship design projects and power system deliveries
- Prepare newbuild specifications for electrical systems
- Technical project management towards ship owners, yards and suppliers
MSc or BSc in electrical power or automation engineering
Solid technical background in marine power and automation systems
Relevant experience from ship design, system integration, shipyards or equipment suppliers
Creative, with a passion for energy-efficient and sustainable solutions
High work capacity and a strong sense of ownership
Keeps the big picture in view without losing sight of the details
Turns visions into action
Builds strong relationships with customers, partners and suppliers
